Confirmation, deposit and cancellations 
Event bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form, including Terms and Conditions, and with the required deposit or room hire paid in full. We require the majority of your party to be present within 30 minutes of the confirmed arrival time as after this time the space will be opened to the public or reduced to the amount of people present. 

Green Park Hotel requires the minimum spend to be met at the conclusion of your event. In the unlikely event that the minimum spend is not reached, the difference will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. 
Cancellations must be made in writing. 

Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to the event date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 60 days prior to the event date will receive 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event date will not be entitled to a refund of the deposit.

Green Park Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking if: 
i.Green Park Hotel or any part is closed due to circumstances outside the venues control
ii.The deposit has not been paid by the due date.

The Green Park reserves the right to relocate your event for reasons including but not limited to; weather, group size or maintenance within the venue. 

Insurance and damages 
Green Park Hotel strives to provide a safe environment for all clientele and take reasonable care where possible, however accepts no responsibility for damages or loss of items before, during or after an event. The client remains financially responsible for any loss or damages sustained to the premises or property incurred during the duration of the event or by an event guest during the time of the event. You are also responsible for any loss or damages to equipment hired by Green Park Hotel on your behalf e.g. DJ equipment. The location of the event as shown in this event confirmation will be the responsible entity during the execution of the event. 

Decorations and cakeage 
Any theming, decoration or fancy dress must be approved by the venue prior to the event, anything deemed offensive will be at management’s discretion. Decorative materials or fancy dress themed events must first confirm with venue management. Please be advised the venue has a strict dress code and entry is at management’s discretion. Any decorations left behind will be discarded unless agreed otherwise with the Event Coordinator. Celebratory Cakes are allowed and we do not charge cakeage, providing prior arrangement has been made with the event manager. Please note Green Park Hotel does not provide cutlery or side plates for cakes, only cocktail napkins. You are welcomed to bring in your own disposable cutlery. 

Licensing, restrictions and minors 
Guests are required to adhere to all Hotel licensing laws and regulations. Minors (anyone under 18 including babies) are not permitted on the premises, and will be asked to leave. Green Park Hotel practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol and requires that guests respect and adhere to the laws relating to intoxication and responsible behaviour. Proof of age must be carried at all times in the form of a current Australian driver’s license or current passport. No other forms of identification will be accepted. 

Prior access 
All events have a 30min bump in time from event start time. Any access to the room prior to your event start time will need to be confirmed and approved no less than 24 hours prior to event date. Prior access is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee. 

Beverage service 
Pre-arranged bar tabs are subject to retail value and any amounts pre-paid are non refundable or transferrable. All items served by the glass will be charged on an individual unit basis. Purchases by the bottle; i.e wines and sparkling options, will be charged accordingly. A valid form of ID and credit card must be provided as security for all beverage tabs. This needs to be handed over to management before bar tab commencement. All prices may be subject to seasonal change. Every possible effort is taken to maintain prices, but these are subject to change at management’s discretion. 

Security
For specifc occasions The Green Park may recommend or reserve the right to supply security guards at a cost to the client. Security personnel are charged per hour with a four hour minimum charge.
